Rita's Seaside Grille
Rita’s Seaside Grille will host its first ever Cinco De Rita’s event on Friday, May 5th from 3 pm to 9 pm. This Folly fiesta will feature food stations, margaritas, beer tents, a traditional puppet performance by Bernie Beauchamp of Beaupromo Puppetry, and live music from Mr. Fahrenheit and The Houk Brothers.  A portion of the proceeds will benefit Surfers Healing, a non-profit organization enriching the lives of people living with autism by exposing them to the unique experience of surfing. “We’re thrilled to host our first Cinco De Rita’s event and a chance to support a worthy cause near and dear to our hearts here on Folly,” said Tommy Hall, Proprietor of Hall Management Group, which owns the restaurant. Chuck Isenburg, Rita’s general manager says the Folly community has been a tremendous support for Rita’s and this event is one way to give something back. “We cannot wait to welcome our guests to this event, which is made even more special with a rare performance from Mr. Fahrenheit,” he said. “It’s guaranteed to be a great time!” Cinco de Rita’s is a family-friendly celebration open to all ages. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased by visiting the event page. Gates open at 3 pm. Entertainment Schedule: The Houk Brothers: 4 pm to 6 pm pm to 7 pm Mr. Fahrenheit: 7 pm to 9 pm Rita’s Seaside Grille can be found at 2 Center Street on Folly Beach.
